About Winterset Christian Academy

Winterset Christian Academy (WCA) is an accredited Christian school that has been joyfully serving families since 2018. We offer a unique one-room-style learning environment with blended grades and one dedicated teacher who knows each student personally. This close-knit setting allows every child to be seen, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential- academically, spiritually, and socially.

At WCA, we strive for rich education but more than academics- it’s about shaping hearts and minds for God glory. Our curriculum is carefully chosen each year to fit the needs of the students so they have full understanding as well as mastering concepts before moving on. We value hands-on learning and community connection, helping students see how their lessons come alive beyond the classroom.

FIELD TRIPS to local parks, the public library, and nearby small businesses are special. These experiences deepen students’ understanding of the world and strengthen ties with our town. We’re grateful for local partnerships that support our students’ growth and remind them that learning and serving go hand in hand.

WEDNEDSAY CHAPEL - a special time for music and biblical teaching. Our teacher leads students in singing and worship with guitar, followed by a Bible lesson from one of our devoted volunteers. These moments of faith and fellowship remind us that God’s presence is at the center of all we do.
