Our Focus.
We strive to develop the whole child by focusing on the following areas:
Spiritual
Abeka curriculum and our teachers promote spiritual development. God’s word is the foundation of our curriculum and encourages children to discover God's world and how they can shine the light of Jesus for others.
Academic
Our core subjects of phonics, language, writing and arithmetic are engaging and set the foundation for academic success. Each lesson builds on previously learned concepts helping students to retain and apply what they have learned. Developmentally appropriate lessons focus on phonics as the basis for our literacy-rich environment.
Social/Emotional
Large group and small group activities, and recess time encourage Christ-like conduct towards others. Our small classroom sizes have shown that students can ask questions and get individual attention if needed. The range of ages allows for a unique peer to peer mentoring opportunities.
Physical
Students develop small and large motor skills through active play, exploration, and hands-on learning.
Cognitive And Creative
Our students acquire skills such as solving problems, asking questions, and using words to describe their ideas, observations, and feelings. They learn about who God is and how much they are loved.
